Anti-Ragging Measures
Raggingis totally banned in the University premises as per UGC Regulations on Curbingthe Menace of Ragging in Higher Education Institutions, 2009.
Ragging,in any form, is not tolerated and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging is liable to be punished as it is a criminal offence. Depending on the nature and gravity of the guilt established by the management, those found guilty may be subjected to suspension from all academic activities of the institution for a period extending to 6 (six) months.
Students are made aware regarding ragging and its consequences by different measures viz:
1. Orientation and sensitization programs
2. Awareness programs
3. Posters and banners across the campus
4. Print and electronic media
5. Social media pages of the institution
